Shangri-La

Overview

Far in deep space, beyond the reach of humanity, the crew finds a perfect planet inhabited by party-goers gathered from across the universe. They meet a familiar face.

Synopsis

Far away from the clutches of the planetary A.I., F.A.T.E., Vice and Grant call Adam up to the bridge to inform him of a strange planet on the horizon. They describe the planet as geologically perfect. More Earthlike than Earth itself. Stranger, still, there’s a guy down there.

Adam brings the ship down and encounters a friendly man named Chuck, who’s been living on the paradise world, Shangri-La, longer than he can remember. Chuck and his best friend Jerry, a talking dolphin, invite the crew to a beach party. Cautiously, and at the behest of the crew, Adam relents.

At the beach party, Adam immediately notices something strange. The guests at the party are recognizable heroes, great persons, spiritual leaders and philosophers from throughout history. Abraham Lincoln, Bob Marley, Steve Irwin, Confucius, and so forth, in addition to alien and animal guests who also made the cut for attendance.

Things get stranger still when Lei Crowley appears, and offers to take Adam on a journey through her memories and his own mind.
