The Triangulum
Overview
The Triangulum Galaxy is considered the Bermuda Triangle of space but the crew decides to take a shortcut and finds cosmic horrors beyond comprehension.
Synopsis
The crew makes it out of Andromeda and into the neighboring galaxy, the mysterious Triangulum. Adam seeks advice from Grant, who knows more about astronomy and intergalactic travel than anyone else. Grant ominously explains that no one has ever made it through the Triangulum and come back from the other side.
Having lost time defending Aesir Colony, Adam makes the decision to risk a shortcut through the Triangulum. After a few weeks navigating the dense, murky nebulae of the Triangulum, the crew comes across a derelict space cruise for intergalactic vacationers, somehow transported light years away from its route in the Milky Way.
The team inspects the abandoned cruise and discovers its horrific fate, having been assailed by a cosmic being beyond human comprehension. After returning to their own ship, the crew begins to see signs that they, too, have stumbled across a creature they cannot comprehend.
